Troubleshooting Roku Device Overheating

• Make sure you handle the device carefully because it might be very hot

• First, from your Roku device, carefully remove the power cord and allow it to cool down

• Now place your Roku device in a cooler area and avoid placing your Roku device in the places below

• Inside a closed space or a shielded and packed cabinet

• Above other electronic equipment like routers, cable boxes, and other like those

• Under sunlight

• Following this, wait for about 10 minutes for your Roku device to cool down.

• After your device cools down, plug in the power cord into the Roku device and turn it on

• In case, you still receive the Roku stick overheating warning message on your screen or the light turns solid red, immediately remove the power cord

• Follow the above steps once more and if the overheating problem persists stop using your Roku player
